Synchronized Skating
Home of the Northernettes - A Premier Minnesota Synchronized Skating Organization
The Northernettes, based out of True North Figure Skating Club, are proud to be the premier synchronized skating program in the Twin Cities. As the largest synchro organization in the area, the Northernettes are dedicated to advancing the sport of synchronized skating in Minnesota—training athletes and teams to compete at the highest levels both nationally and internationally.
Synchronized skating is a thrilling team sport where typically, 16 skaters on the ice perform as one, showcasing precision, speed, intricate formations, and powerful unison.
The Northernettes offer teams at the developmental levels (where skaters can start as young as 5 and have limited skating experience), as well as higher level qualifying teams (that can qualify for the U.S. Synchronized Skating National Championships). The Northernettes Junior team has been named to Team USA the last five years, proudly representing MN and the USA in international competitions and the Northernettes Collegiate Team is a two time National medaling team that gives skaters the opportunity to compete at a high level into college. The Northernettes pathway is well developed for skaters of all ages and abilities to grow, compete, and thrive within a supportive and high-performance environment.
