Meet Tori

Tori’s passion for skating began at age 4 in Cleveland, Ohio. She started in synchronized skating with the Mentor Ice Diamonds at ages 5 and 6, competing on Preliminary and Pre-Juvenile teams. Later, she focused on freestyle, qualifying five times for the Midwestern Sectional Championships across Intermediate, Novice, and Junior levels. Tori is a four-time Gold Medalist in Moves in the Field, Freestyle, Partnered Ice Dance, and Solo Free Dance.

Reconnecting with synchro in high school, Tori joined the Mentor Ice Diamonds again before attending Miami University. Her freshman year, she was a member of the Miami University Collegiate team and won a US Synchronized Skating Collegiate National Championship gold medal. Her remaining years at Miami, she was a member of the Senior team, competing internationally in Sweden and France as a member of Team USA. Her senior year, the team skated to a silver medal at the National Championships, earning them a spot on the 2022 World Team.

Tori graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sports Leadership and Management and a Minor in Coaching. Currently, Tori works in digital marketing and coaches private skating lessons in her free time.

  • Tori has been coaching private lessons since for 6 years, leading group lessons for 8 years, and has been coaching synchronized skating teams since graduating college.

    Coaching private lessons has always been a passion of Tori's, allowing her to connect with each skater individually, tailor instruction to their unique needs, and help them reach their fullest potential on and off the ice.

  • Tori is committed to nurturing not only the athlete but the person as a whole. In coaching young skaters, she emphasize balance between technical skill, artistic expression, and personal well-being. Tori strives to create a positive, inclusive environment where confidence, self-awareness, and resilience grow alongside athletic development. Tori's goal is to inspire a lifelong love for skating and empower each skater to become their best self both on and off the ice.

  • Tori served as assistant coach for the Northernettes Pre-Juvenile and Preliminary teams during the 2022–23 season, and co-head coach of the Juvenile team as well as assistant coach of the Novice team during the 2023–24 season. Tori is excited to continue her coaching journey this season working with the Collegiate Team.

Tori’s Accomplishments and Awards

Tori is a five-time Midwestern Sectional competitor (2013-2018) in freestyle, having competed at the Intermediate, Novice, and Junior levels and competed locally though the Senior level. As a synchro skater, she was a member of the Miami University Collegiate team and won a US Synchronized Skating Collegiate National Championship Gold Medal. From 2019 to 2022, Tori was a member of Team USA, representing the Miami University Senior Varsity Synchronized Skating Team. In 2022, the team earned the National Silver Medal and secured a position on the World Team. Additionally, Tori is a quadruple gold medalist in Moves-in-the-Field, Freestyle, Partnered Ice Dance, and Solo Free Dance.
